Ahmed Kathrada Foundation 2017 CALENDAR: MARKING THE CENTENARY OF OLIVER TAMBO
This year will mark 100 years since the birth of Oliver Tambo, anti-apartheid stalwart and late President of the African National Congress. Tambo was born on October 27, 1917.
This calendar celebrates his life and commitment to the anti-apartheid struggle and its values, both during his time in South Africa, and during his years in exile.
The calendar is a partnership between the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation and Shereno Printers, with special thanks to the Oliver and Adelaide Tambo Foundation for its contribution.

This publication tells the story of Shirish Nanabhai, an Umkhonto we Sizwe operative, who spent 10 years imprisoned on Robben Island. Nanabhai, who lived in Lenasia, passed away on April 1, 2016. He was 78 years old.
INDRES NAIDOO – A LIFELONG REVOLUTIONARY
Indres Elatchininathan Naidoo passed away on 3rd January 2016 at 2 Military Hospital in Cape Town. He was a veteran of the African National Congress (ANC) and the South African Communist Party (SACP). He was also a member of Umkhonto we Sizwe – ‘Spear of the Nation’ (MK) and a Robben Islander.

This publication documents the story of anti-apartheid activist and Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK) operative, Comrade Reggie Vandeyar. It was published by the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation in 2011, marking Vandeyar’s 80th birthday.
